For this event we will be returning to Bonney Lake High School, 10920 199th Ave Ct E, Bonney Lake, WA 98391 Saturday, March 13th 2010 There will be no day of registration for this event Register online (until 11:59 pm Wednesday, March 10 th), Brackets will be done and posted when competitors arrive at the event! All competitors will weigh in Saturday before their match. Weigh ins will be staggered for ADULTS. Upper belts going first. You will not weigh in in the morning for a match that won’t start for hours. Competitors not making the weight they sign up for will be disqualified. February Prices (pre-registration): 1division $40 2 divisions $60 March Prices 1 division $50 2 divisions $70 ** Active Duty Military/Law Enforcement/Firefighter with ID receive a $10 discount Team points/Team Trophies awarded in Gi, No-Gi & Overall. Teen & Youth points WILL count toward team total for this event! **see the ‘team points program’ under “Tournament Rules” for a full explanation Men’s, women’s, junior’s & youth Gi and No-Gi divisions. Adult Gi divisions are White, Blue, Purple, Brown, and Black belts. Teens/Children Gi divisions White, Yellow, Orange, Green & Blue. No-Gi divisions are Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Certified Scale - Medals awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place - Pre-Registration Discount for all competitor registering in March- Consolation Match (2nd match guaranteed to all competitors) Weight Classes For this event we are using the IBJJF NO-GI weight classes for ALL Adult competitors Weights are without Gi. All Competitors will weigh without Gi *weight classes may be combined to accommodate competitors PLEASE DO NOT have children cut weight as their weight classes are often combined Doors Open 8:00 am Black, Brown & Purple Belt Divisions will be called to the scales at 9:30am Matches will start directly after. Blue & White Belts are welcome to check-in any time after the doors open. We will post Blue, White Belt & No-Gi Weigh-In times once brackets have been cast. Please check the website Friday, March 12th for official times. Youth & Juniors Gi competitors will start weigh-ins in the upstairs gym at 9:30am We will hold a brief Rules Meeting at 10am Matches will start directly after. Youth & Junior No-Gi Division Weigh-Ins will start once Gi divisions have been completed. Medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place division winners ‘Vicious Submission’ Award for quickest submission of the day in both Gi & No-Gi (adults only) Free onsite parking. Concessions with candy, fruit, granola bars, water and fresh hot pizza for lunch.
